Sea
Aquarium
Dozens of species, from clownfish to seahorses. Pick a theme such as a coral reef, an icy sea or a volcanic sea; switch to the beach and the sand becomes a whiteboard.
When a pupil brings in their homework or helps a friend, you feed their fish. The fish grows and might one day turn into a dolphin.

The space world is on its way
When a pupil does something good, tap their fish on the board and choose what they did; the food, points and levels are all worked out for you. There’s nothing to install: it opens in your browser.
Brought in their homework, helped a friend, came ready to learn. Two taps on the board or your phone and it’s recorded.
Food drops onto the screen and the pupil’s fish swims over to eat it; in the sky, birds gather seeds. The pupil earns points and pearls.
As points build up, the Kudoling grows and earns badges. At certain milestones it turns into a dolphin or an eagle for a few days.
Timer, name picker, class helper, break lock and the other things you reach for in a lesson, all on the same screen.
A Kudoling is a little creature that grows with praise. In the sea it swims, in the sky it flies – and every kind word, good choice and finished task helps it grow, level by level.
We started with an aquarium, and now there’s a sky too. Switch to whichever world your class prefers; pupils keep all their points and badges. We are working on a space world.

Sky New
Here birds take the place of fish, and seeds replace food. There are 10 themes, from a sunny day to the northern lights; in time, birds can turn into owls and eagles.
Space Soon
Not ready yet; we’re working on it. We’ll announce it here when it opens.

Pupils choose their Kudoling from 140 new 3D characters, and you decorate your class with 12 decoration sets, from a sunken library to floating islands. In the sky, birds land on the islands to rest, windmills turn and flags flutter.

No need to open a separate app: the tools open right over the aquarium. Add the ones you use most to your favourites to keep them at the top.
Count down from any time you like, with the end sound of your choice.
A timed task: finish your work, leave the box and collect your points.
A wheel that skips absent pupils and anyone already picked today.
The class helper is picked in turn and earns the day’s points.
The Kudolings stop on red and swim on green.
At break the board stays locked and can only be watched.

As well as what each pupil earns on their own, there are goals the class reaches together. Once a goal is reached or a reward unlocked, it’s never taken back.
When the class has been fed enough during the day, the box opens and everyone earns pearls.
A shared goal the whole class fills up together over the week.
At 500 points they turn into a seahorse, at 1,000 into a dolphin; in the sky there are owls, eagles and albatrosses. Each transformation lasts a few days.
There are badges for everything from a first reward to mastering a level, and a streak grows over consecutive school days.
Crowns, glasses, hats, helmets and more, plus lots of colours. Pupils dress up their own Kudoling.
The class helper is picked in turn; that day their name tag says “Class helper” and they earn the day’s points.
We didn’t want one bad day to wipe out weeks of a pupil’s hard work, or anyone to be shown as “bottom of the class” in front of everyone. The focus is on good behaviour; when needed, a teacher can take points off, note the reason, and parents can see it.
A Kudoling that hasn’t been fed for a while just gets a bit sleepy, and perks up with the first bite of food.
Badges, once earned, are never taken away. A teacher can take points off if needed; they note the reason, and parents can see it.
Pupils aren’t compared with each other, and children with fewer points are never singled out.
The questions teachers and parents ask us most.
They don’t lose anything. Their Kudoling gets a little hungry, and if it isn’t fed for a long time it gets sleepy, but it bounces back with the first bite of food. Its level, size and badges all stay put. Outside lesson times, in the holidays and on days the pupil is absent, it sleeps.
Each class picks its own world: fish in the sea, birds in the sky. We are working on space, island, forest and city worlds. When you switch worlds, your pupils keep all their progress.
No. There’s no leaderboard, and every Kudoling grows at its own pace. The surprise box and the weekly goal are rewards the whole class earns together.
Not if you turn on the break lock. The board is locked with a 4-digit code; pupils can watch the aquarium but can’t change anything. Refreshing the page doesn’t unlock it either.
No. Parents only see their own child’s progress. On a shared viewing link, no pupil names are shown at all.
No. Kudolings runs in your browser, so there’s nothing to download. Sign up, paste in your class list and you’re ready to go; it only takes a few minutes.
Yes. It opens full screen on any interactive board, computer or phone with a web browser. We designed it with the board in mind: big buttons, and names you can read from across the room.
No, it’s free for teachers.

It only takes a few minutes. Sign up, copy and paste your class list from Excel, and it’s ready to open on the board tomorrow.
